The path of a creator

Fernando Poggio holds a degree in Graphic Design of the “Universidad de Buenos Aires”. His interest in plastic arts drove him to experience in the metallurgical family workshop where he could create different aluminum peaces. From the success obtained with different projects, in 1991 he finally created his own company, specializing on the creation and production of designed objects.

Between 1992 and 1997 he worked as a teacher inside Catedra Forbes of the Graphic Design Career at UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires), and in 1993 he was named “Visual Communication Assessor” at the prestigious General San Martin Cultural Center. During those years, he dedicated himself to design and to produce special objects for executive presents, trophies and awards.

During the year 2000 he participated in the Argentinean group call “Diseñadores del Bajo”. And on the same year he opened a store with his own products. While his designs achieved notoriety, he started painting and attending several workshops and courses.

Due to the success and renown of his products, in 1999 he was invited to design the most prestigious international awards; the MTV awards. During the following years, Fernando Poggio was renown at several different contests such as “Torre Agbar” in 2005, where he was chosen to create an exclusive product line based on the Barcelona Tower.
